I hold a bachelor's degree in Hotel Administration from Cornell University, where I focused primarily on small business management in the hospitality industry. I have since been working to gather the resources necessary to buy an inn of my own, and thoroughly enjoy sharing my skills and passion as an interim innkeeper in the meantime.
With experience managing a wide spectrum of small properties, from a seaside motel in the rustic Cape Cod town of Eastham, to an elegant bed and breakfast in San Diego, to the top-rated luxury boutique hotel in downtown Boston, I will bring a robust and well-honed set of skills to your team.

Whether tasked with managing an entire operation or as an addition to your staff for a specific shift or service, here is a short list of my Innkeeping experiences, for your consideration: Front desk operations- reservations, confirmation emails, checking in/out, daily close and audits, breakfast preparation (your recipes or mine), breakfast service and post-breakfast clean up, afternoon hospitality with wine and cheese, afternoon tea with biscuits or cakes, and peanut butter & jelly sandwiches and milk- a favorite in the South (the choice is yours), concierge services, travel assistance and local activities recommendations. I make a concerted effort to
familiarize myself to your reservation system and local attractions before arriving. I also do light to moderate cleaning of the common areas, gardening and outdoor maintenance, (I have been know to do a little power washing, but no mowing, please). I oversee cleaning, laundry and maintenance staff. I am familiar with the use of ‘ozone’ devices in rooms and other mandated/precautionary measures utilized during COVID. I am known for keeping my head and remaining calm during emergencies-- property malfunctions, weather related threats, or the sudden illness of a guest. I handle guests concerns with empathy toward a positive resolution.
Business attributes you can expect--
